ABOUT OURSELF
Halfway between the plain around Turin and Monferrato's hills, among the fields that follow Po river, it's Agriturismo Casa Matilde.
The building is the result of the renovation of the old farm belonging to the Casa family, built in 1934 by Francesco Casa, forerunner of the family of farmers. In 1959 his son Domenico expanded the size of the farm and started to rear cows of piemontese breed, world famous for the excellence of their meat. Today the third generation of the Casa household decided to renovate the historical buildings and use them as an agriturismo because since 1974 the size of the herd has increased and needed a much bigger stable. Away from the crowd and traffic of the big cities, this agriturismo is ready to welcome in its roooms everyone looking for quiet and relax.
The agriturismo also offer a comfortable resting stop for bikers and hikers in their excursion on the hills of Monferrato or on the bycicle path VenTo and to horse riding excursions. Many local projects aim to reopen the paths and trails on the nearby hills and woods, to offer long walks shielded from summer heat. If you wish to escape the heat with a dive in a swimming pool, Casa Matilde's guest will not be disappointed by our facility.
